getting back on track

so i've got to admit, i've been slacking- work seems to be piling up on me & i haven't exercised in weeks! So I promised myself to start up anew this weekend. You only live once granted, but might as well make the most of it while you can. Have you ever felt like you wanted to do soo much more than what you were currently doing? I honestly feel like I should be exploring all of my talents, but I have no idea where to start! I loveee to sing and dance, yet I haven't explored those things. So my goals for this month are to try new things and I know that I can :) there is one thing that i just recently explored- posing for the camera! My friend Mariana, an amazing photographer, needed some models for her portfolio, so I gave it a try. Below are some of the photos...I'll post more asap!

So my photography class has me taking portraits of different people so yesterday I grabbed my cousin and went to town! I think the photos came out really nice- I'm definitely not a professional/ nor do I have a  super nice camera, but for a point and shoot, I was impressed. Gelato, Girls with Mustaches, & More!

Hey everyone :)

I was in Orlando for the better part of last night, so I didn't have the chance to blog about my day! Yesterday was great- my boyfriend and I happened to go shopping at the mall & treated ourselves to yummy and delicious gelato. Neither of us had ever tried it before, so we said what the heck and went for half a scoop of chocolate and half a scoop of cookies and cream. It was...life changing :) But our day got even better when we decided to relax and sit, and three girls walked past us wearing pretty dresses and fake mustaches...possibly a new fashion trend? I sure hope not. I think what made yesterday a really nice day was that I took time for myself just to relax-no busy schedules or deadlines. Everyone should have one of those days.

Anyways, the night ended well as we went to Orlando for a Las Vegas theme family party. Since I'm Spanish, I'm sure you can imagine how crazy and fun it was. I learned how to play 21 :)

Can't wait for October!

Hey everyone :)

I can't wait for October-seriously looking forward to cooler weather & Halloween of course! I've grown out of the let's all go trick or treating phase but I still love candy, and parties! I'm in charge of the fall festival at my daycare so I'm searching for new and fun ideas for the children- if you have any good resources, please send 'em my way!

On another note- let me tell you, procrastination is a scary word. Case in point, my recent sociology test covered five chapters, and I waited til the day before to study :( Thankfully I work well under pressure, but still I need to work on that!
